Thank you to everyone who joined us at the D Way’s Sake Tasting Event on May 14th at Continental Seafood Restaurant in Richmond! We were thrilled to welcome so many guests who came to explore the world of Japanese alcohol with us. From classic sake to unique Japanese craft beers, we offered over 20 varieties for tasting-plus some exciting sake-based cocktail ideas that sparked fresh inspiration.

What We Served
We summarized what we served at the event both of sake and foods.
Sake Products

KUBOTA
KUBOTA is one of the most famous sake brand from Asahi brewery in Japan. It has very long history since 1830. We are importing many kinds of traditional KUBOTA sake and served Junmai Daiginjo, Yamahai, Manju, Senju Ginjo, Senju Junmai Ginjo, Seppou Black, Seppou White, Sparkling.

Flavor Sake
We also have many kinds of flavored sake such as plum wine. At the event, we served Yamayuzu, Aragoshi Apple, Kamikokoro Momo, Green Tea Plum Wine, Plum Wine, Hassaku-shu.

Top Sales Sake Selection
We were thrilled to introduce some top sales sake! We brought Kikumasamune New Taru Sake, Suigei Tokubetsu Junmai, Born Gold, Kamotsuru Gold, Nito Junmai Yamadanishiki.

300ml Series
We served some 300ml sake products for new summer sake idea. We brought Sho-chiku-bai Kimoto, Sho-chiku-bai Nigori sake, Sho-chiku-bai Nama Sake, Harushika, Sparkling Mio, Kikusui Junmai Ginjo, Kikusui Perfect Snow, Kukisui Nama Genshu, Meiho Kikuzakari, Kokuyou, Jozen Mizuno Gotoshi Junmai Ginjo White, Pink, Senchu Hassaku, Uonuma Nojun.

Beer
We also served some popular beer, Orion Dark, Echigo Red Ale, Echigo Rice Lager, Coedo Green Tea Saison, Coedo White.
Sake Cocktails

People also enjoyed our sake cocktail idea. We prepared 3 types of cocktails which used our sake products. We were very happy to introduce that our sake can be enjoyed as a cocktail, not only sake.
Food Products

Somi Sesame Dressing
This is a rich taste sesame dressing from SOMI foods. You can feel more deep sesame flavor and it can be used any salad, dipping sauce for hot pot and even noodle!

The ice making company “Kuramoto Ice” participated our tasting event as a vendor. They make high-quality, fancy shaped ice for restaurants and bars.
