Shirakawago Sasanigori (also marketed as Shirayuki Village or “Snowy Village”) is a refined Junmai Ginjo nigori (unfiltered) sake meticulously crafted by Miwa Shuzo, a historic brewery founded in 1837 in Ogaki City, Gifu Prefecture. It presents a lightly cloudy, delicate whitish appearance—a hallmark of well-made nigori. The aroma is subtle and fresh, evoking newly blossomed flowers, crisp cucumber, and pristine spring water.
