Domestic ume plums are steeped in Umenoyado’s sake to create this umeshu, or plum wine. Using both green and ripe ume, the aroma and taste of about 15 plums are sealed within each 1800 ml bottle. We have created an umeshu with the elegant, light mouthfeel that comes from the richness of sake blending in with the aroma and freshness of plums. Enjoy chilled, straight, or on the rocks. In the colder seasons, it can also be enjoyed hot.
